Apostle Dr. Gregory Sherman, Founder & Overseer:
Apostle Sherman is a graduate of South Carolina State University with a degree in Business Administration. He is the Senior Pastor of Shekinah Glory Tabernacle. After having four children of his own Apostle Sherman had a great burden and passion to see children being educated in a Christian environment, which would also be affordable. He understood the importance of children being taught how to learn and grasp new information at an early age in life. Therefore, with the help of his wife Dr. Glenda Sherman and the Holy Spirit Apostle Sherman moved forward in 2003 to birth out the SGT Christian Academy.
Dr. Glenda Sherman, Academy CEO:
Licensed by the State Department of GA, CDA License by the Council for Professional Recognition. Bachelor's Degree in Consumer Science with a minor in Early Childhood Education; Master's Degree in Counseling Education. Doctorate Degree in Religious Philosophy. Co-Founder and Co-Pastor of Shekinah Glory Tabernacle Praise and Worship Center. She has 20 years of experience in the public school system as a teacher and a counselor. Presently she has been working at Shekinah Glory Tabernacle Christian Academy for the past twenty (20) years. With more than 40 years of experience in education - you are being served by one of God's best.
NIKKIA CHERRY, ACADEMY PRINCIPAL
She presently serves as our SGT Christian Academy Principal and Director. She has been working at the SGT Christian Academy for the past 12 years as a teacher with all ages and grade level. She comes with so much knowledge and experience in working with children and parents. She has a good sound understanding of the curriculum, as well as where each child needs to be in their different learning capacity during the year. She is a graduate of Everest College in Atlanta, GA.
Miss Grace Sherman, Academy Administrator:
She works closely with parents at SGT Christian Academy to make sure their accounts are current and up-to-date. She also serves as the administrator for the Food and Nutrition Program. She has a heart for education, because she has worked at the SGT Christian Academy for a total of 12 years, seven years as a lead teacher and educator and five years as the Academy Administrator. She is a graduate of the University of West GA with a degree in Biology.
